WFMU Record Fair hits NYC next week

WFMU Record Fair
Record nerds should make sure to head down to the annual WFMU Record Fair to check out 10,000 square feet of LPs, 45s, CDs, DVDs, art, and the proverbial much, much more. The fair goes down at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion ( 125 West 18th St.) on November 2 – 4. $7 entrance fee,  or you can fork over $25 for first dibs rights on Friday (4 – 7 PM).

In addition to getting your fingers dirty flipping through vinyl, there are DJs spinning tunes (like Jonathan Toubin on Friday night 11/2) and live performances and films being screened in the AV Lounge, including Amen Dunes on Sunday afternoon (11/4, 4 PM). In other news, we can all look forward to the previously discussed WFMU documentary, which exceeded its funding goal via Kickstarter.
