Wham City Comedy made IFC's 'The Mirror' (watch), touring this spring

The Wham City arts and performance collective has been been operating out of Baltimore since the mid-’00s, back when Dan Deacon was a part of it. These days, they’re an established comedy troupe who are best known as creators of Adult Swim “informercials” Unedited Footage of a Bear, Live Forever As You Are Now W/ Alan Resnick (which featured Dan Deacon), Commencement Speech, and This House Has People In It. IFC just released their new comedy series, The Mirror which parodies education programming and televangelists which is described as “essentially what would happen if Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood and The Jim Bakker Show had a delusional and slightly paranoid baby.”

Wham City Comedy’s three core members: Alan Resnick, Robby Rackleff and Ben O’Brien, will be touring this spring, performing a mix of sketch comedy and incorporating their video projects, joined by, depending on the date, Lorelei Ramirez, Christine Ferrera, or Cricket Arrison. The NYC stop on the tour happens at Shea Stadium on March 24 with Lorelei Ramirez opening. All dates are listed below all these videos:
