There’s also the MoMA PS1 Warm Up with MJ Cole, SINKANE, Slava and more.

The weather forecast for the next, oh, five days or so looks pretty wet, but rain today is not supposed to hit till 5PM or so.

If you’re looking for an indoor festival, the Breakout Sessions Music Fest is happening at Delinquency in Williamsburg. It starts at 3PM and features Grand Rapids, The Yellow Dogs, recently-profiled-by-us Louisville, KY band Murals, and many more. Not free ($12), but there’s free Brooklyn Brewery beer from 3 – 5PM and then again from 9 – 11PM.

Or, you could just stay home and watch the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat that is the 2012 London Olympics.

Speaking of the London Olympics, did you watch the nutty, Danny Boyle-directed opening ceremony with Kenneth Brannagh doing Shakespeare, Mary Poppins, a 50-ft tall Voldemort, Mr Bean, James Bond, a parachuting Queen Elizabeth II, and nearly every British pop culture icon short of giant fish n’ chips balloons and a Benny Hill chase scene set to “Yackety Sax”? Nuts. (And awesome.) Oh, and performances from Paul McCartney, the guy from Two Door Cinema Club… and the Artctic Monkeys performed a straightforward cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together.” No video of that we could find, but you can stream their performance below.
