CMJ is officially over, but if you’ve still got any energy left, there are tons of good shows today. A handful of bigger bands are making their way through town like Divine Fits (who play with Cold Cave), The Darkness, Justice and Chromeo (DJ), WHY?, Psychedelic Furs and Lemonheads feat. Juliana Hatfield, The Sea and Cake, and A-Trak (who plays with Flosstradamus like he did in Brooklyn last night).

Plus, a bunch of the artists who were here for CMJ are sticking around. Most notably, there’s the Wild Nothing, Merchandise, and Mac DeMarco show, but other good ones include Austin’s Ringo Deathstarr, local faves Parquet Courts, Juan Wauters (of The Beets), and Son of Salami at Shea Stadium, and if you’re up early, the free day party at 285 Kent with Hilly Eye, Blanche Blanche Blanche, Ava Luna, and more should be a great time.

We threw a few events during CMJ, including day parties at Public Assembly on Friday and Saturday. One of the highlights of those parties was London post-punk newcomers Savages tearing up the front room on Friday, followed by an unrelenting set by Toronto punks METZ. If you missed it, you can check out videos of both bands from that party below, via (((unartig))).
