The BrooklynVegan-presented movie screening of The Comedy, which is 100% free, happens tonight at Knitting Factory Brooklyn. It stars Tim & Eric and James Murphy and many other familiar names. Doors open at 5 PM and the screening starts at 5:30.

Tinderbox Music Festival goes down on three stages at Webster Hall tonight (main stage, Marlin stage, and the Studio) with Cocorosie, Jean Grae, Selebrities, Computer Magic, ZZZs, Hard Nips, and more.

Screaming Females and Black Wine would have played Maxwell’s tonight but they cancelled their tour due to illness.
