Williamsburg mega-club Output opens tonight with DJ sets from Shaun Reeves, Nicolas Matar, VisionQuest, Crosstown Rebels. Those wondering what this may mean to the quickly-evolving neighborhood, note this verbiage from the promoters: “Output is open to anyone, but is not for everyone. Output welcomes individuals who value the communal experience of music over cameras, ropes, and bottles.”

Fans of high quality indiepop should head to Cake Shop tonight to catchy the hyper-jangle of Literature and Aussie ex-pats Scott & Charlene’s Wedding.

The Ecstatic Music Festival begins this evening with Shara Worden and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. If you can’t make it, stream online.
