Perhaps unsurprisingly for the week before SXSW, but NYC is bonkers for show options tonight, including the BV-presented Thermals/Habibi/Hilly Eye show at 285 Kent (sold out).

You could also attempt to have your own little SXSW club-hopping experience on the Lower East Side tonight: Australia’s Alpine play early at at Mercury Lounge; Montreal’s Valleys and Wales’ Man Without Country are at Pianos; and Norwegian synthpop band Tomorrow We Move to Hawaii are at Cake Shop. To make it really like SXSW, drink only Sailor Jerry rum and make sure your phone’s battery remains below 15%.

Ben UFO is revealing “something” from Mount Kimbie‘s new album on his radio show tonight.

Drake revealed an aggressive new single, “5AM in Toronto,” which will presumably appear on his upcoming album, Nothing Was the Same. Stream the track below.

R E A L M A G I C, who we profiled in 2011, is finally releasing his debut album, Deep Breathing, next week (3/12), and you can head below to stream it in its entirety (via Portals)

Blanche Blanche Blanche, who are playing NYC soon, are streaming their new album, Wooden Ball, in its entirety. Listen below.

We nominate Lemmy of Motorhead for president! Unfortunately, Troma already came up with that idea though, as seen in the NSFW trailer for Return to the Class of Nuke ‘Em High below.
