White Prism, Shadbx @ Ace Hotel
If your taste in synthpop leans towards the Italo stylings of Sally Shapiro, you might want to check out Brooklyn’s White Prism, who will be playing Ace Hotel every Sunday night in July.
Bob Dylan, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Ryan Bingham @ Susquehanna Bank Center
The Americanarama tour rolls into Camden tonight with three generations of rootsy rock and, probably, a little musical cross-pollination.
Tropical Ooze, Friends & Farmers, Other Than Earth, 56k, Paper Fleet @ Cameo Gallery
R. Stevie Moore won’t be here, but his backing band Tropical Ooze will be doing their thing at Cameo tonight.
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Brand Nubian, Special Ed, Homebody Sandman & more @ Central Park Summerstage (FREE)

Regal Degal, Big French, “Plum Brandy” @ Coco66
Regal Degal are gearing up for a few dates with Grizzly Bear (they band are on Chris Taylor’s Terrible Records) and play a warm up show tonight at Coco66. Who is mystery band Plum Brandy?
Butter The Children, Slonk Donkerson, Echo Comets @ Glasslands
Pretty solid local bill at Glasslands tonight, including NYC pop shoegazers Butter the Children, who are always worth showing up for.
Baked, Liam Betson (Liam The Younger), Bueno, Weed Hounds, Hippy @ Shea Stadium
Another great local bill goes down at Shea Stadium tonight, including the back in action Weed Hounds and solid 90s-leaning indie rockers Hippy.
Ghost BC, Skeletonwitch @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Two classic sounding, wild metal bands team up for what is sure to be a crazy show at Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight.
The Gaslight Anthem, The Hold Steady @ Pier 26
The Gaslight Anthem wrap up their 3-night run in NYC tonight. Like they were the first night, they’re back on Pier 26 for a big outdoor show, and this time support comes from literate bar rockers The Hold Steady.

Todd Terry (DJ Set), Le1f @ W Times Square
The ongoing music series at W Hotels continues tonight with a DJ set from Todd Terry and a live set from rapper Le1f.
Sheer Terror, The Templars @ Rocks Off Cruise
This should be a pretty great punk show on a boat with sets from NYHC vets Sheer Terror and long-running Long Island Oi! band The Templars.
Larry and His Flask @ Knitting Factory
Larry and His Flask do to bluegrass what Gogol Bordello do to gypsy music and what Flogging Molly do to Celtic music. It’s a solid mix, and you can catch the foot-stompin’ madness at Knitting Factory tonight.
Hannibal Buress @ Knitting Factory
Meanwhile, in the front bar at the Knit, Hannibal Buress does his weekly Sunday comedy show.
Monkey: Journey to the West @ Lincoln Center
Damon Albarn, Chen Shi-Zheng, and Jamie Hewlett’s musical take on one of China’s most famous tales is part opera, part Cirque du Soleil.
