You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Mac DeMarco, Homeshake @ Baby’s All Right
Ahead of his sold-out Webster Hall show, Mac DeMarco plays this smaller record release show. Which is also sold-out. And sure to be wild.

Doug Gillard, White Lighters, Workout, Dear Comrade @ Glasslands
Doug Gillard’s CV is impeccable, having logged time in Guided by Voices, Nada Surf, My Dad is Dead to name three. His his new solo album, Parade On, is an equally impressive array of sparkling powerpop. Tonight’s the record release show.

Danny Brown, Bodega Bamz, Zelooperz @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Danny Brown’s career really escalated with last year’s Old, an excellent album of fast wacky rhymes and hard wacky beats. Tonight’s the second of two sold-out NYC shows on his current tour. A$AP collaborator Bodega Bamz opens this one too.

Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra @ Union Pool
You may know that Thee Silver Mt. Zion share members with Godspeed You! Black Emperor, but post-rock is only a minor element here, not to say it isn’t still epic, gripping music. Tonight’s their second of three NYC shows total this week, and first of their two-night stand at Union Pool. Tonight and tomorrow are both sold out.

Arc Isis, Plume Giant @ The Mercury Lounge
Jocie Adams used to be a member of The Low Anthem, and now she makes eccentric indie folk on her own as Arc Iris.
