You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

The Pop Group, Pampers @ Rough Trade
With most of the original lineup, post-punk pioneers The Pop Group returned this year with Citizen Zombie, their first album in 35 years. It’s a pretty terrific record and if it’s not as groundbreaking as their classic material, well, they were ahead of their time and are just catching up. Tonight’s show is with great Brooklyn artpunks Pampers.

Palma Violets @ Baby’s All Right
UK band Palma Violets offer up big hooks and laddish camaraderie; their new album, Danger at the Club, is out in May. This is their second NYC show before heading to SXSW.

Guttermouth, Counterpunch, Haust, Wonderboy @ Saint Vitus
’90s-era SoCal skate punks Guttermouth headline this show, and if you’re going we especially recommend showing up for Norway’s Haust who have a killer mix of punk, black metal and psychedelia.

David Wax Museum @ Rockwood Music Hall (7 PM, Stage 2)
David Wax Museum bring their unique Mexo-Americana folk rock to Rockwood Music Hall for the 7 PM show tonight.

Gabriel Kahane @ Rockwood Music Hall (8 PM, Stage 2)
After DWM, it’s another Rockwood show with Gabriel Kahane, a collaborator of Sufjan Stevens, Rufus Wainwright, Blake Mills, and others. His last NYC appearance was in December premiering a new piece at BAM with members of yMusic, but tonight’s show is something more intimate.

Lazer/Wulf, Verses Narrow @ Coco 66
Georgia’s proggy metal band Lazer/Wulf headline this show, and opening is Verses Narrow who recently acquired ex-Boysetsfire drummer Matt Kurpanski.

Night Train @ Littlefield
The Kondabolu brothers fill in for usual host Wyatt Cenac, and tonight’s comedy talent include Dan St. Germain, Sam Morril, Jessi Klein, and Amanda Seales.
