You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Death Grips @ Brooklyn Masonic Temple
Notorious show cancellers and supposedly broken up rap group Death Grips have been on tour, and as these real, not fake photos prove, they’re actually playing shows! We still have no idea what will happen at tonight’s show, but if you bought tickets (and a lot of you did — it’s sold out), good luck!

Fetty Wap & Remy Boys @ Stage 48
Fetty Wap is the Paterson, NJ rapper who’s been enjoying the surprise-success of his addictive single “Trap Queen,” which you’ve heard if you’ve left your house at least once this year. (Actually, even if you haven’t. You have probably heard it blasting out of cars driving by your apartment.) He’s since dropped the “My Way” single, which is picking up a good amount of steam too.

Caveman, Sweekuh @ Gouverneur Lane
Get a taste of Caveman’s new material (and lots of older favorites) at this free “Game On” block party in the Financial District. It’s free, all-ages and starts at 5 PM.

Mac DeMarco BBQ @ 153 Morgan Ave
If you bring Mac a canned food drive item, he’ll grill you a hot dog. He’ll also be playing unreleased songs on his car stereo, and selling “Ass Passes” that get you into all four of his upcoming NYC shows (three of which are sold out).

The Stepkids @ Madison Square Park
This is part of Madison Sq. Park’s “Oval Lawn Series,” tonight featuring the funky/jammy Stones Throw-signed trio The Stepkids. It’s free, all-ages and starts at  7 PM.

Summerscreen (‘Clueless’) w/ Worriers @ McCarren Park
While Todd P pulling out his involvement as music booker, the show goes on for Summerscreen now with Worriers playing instead of Zs. Doors open at 6pm, with food vendors and live music. Films at sundown.

Electric Six @ Rocks Off Concert Cruise
Detroit’s finest purveyors of tongue-in-cheek bombast, Electric Six, play on a boat tonight. That seems about right. They probably have a song about a boat, you’d think.

World Party @ City Winery
Karl Wallinger’s psychedelic pop band World Party kick off a four-night, full-band run at City Winery.

Bridget Everett @ Joe’s Pub
Bridget Everett continues to perform her acclaimed show at Joe’s Pub. Shy folks might want to either a) not sit too close to the stage or b) not go at all. Everyone else: Bridget’s a riot.

Mike Birbiglia’s Dream at UCB Theatre
For fans of Birbiglia’s famous storytelling style of comedy, this monthly show at the UCB is a must-see. Joined by the best UCB vets, including Chris Gethard and Tami Sagher (Broad City), Birbiglia brings his stories to life through improv.

Jo Firestone Presents: The Unexpectashow @ UCB Chelsea
Rising New York comedian and actress Jo Firestone is renowned for her unique shows, like pun competitions and dating shows. She is back at UCB tonight, setting up single men on dates that will happen live on stage.

Shraf, Soft Lit, Fitness, Motion Studies @ Friends and Lovers
The GODMODE label brings us this lineup featuring four of their bands, including the LCD-ish dance rock of Motion Studies.
