You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Willie Nelson, Old Crow Medicine Show @ Prospect Park
It’s a little sad Brooklyn isn’t getting Waylon Jennings, who has been Willie’s tourmate for much of the summer, but a chance to see him and hear his catalog of classic in the idylic splendour that is Prospect Park is pretty good on its own. Old Crow Medicine Show are nothing to sneeze at, either. This is the final show in the bandshell for Celebrate Brooklyn’s 2015 season and is sold out.

Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper @ Barclays Center
These veteran hard rockers are on their for-real farewell tour — they actually signed contracts promising to not tour together as Mötley Crüe after this — so if you’ve always wanted to see Vince, Nikki, Tommy and Mick, this is your last chance. In NYC, at least.

Hum, The Forms @ Saint Vitus
The great ’90s band Hum are more influential ever, with their shoegaze/post-hardcore/alternative rock blend being imitated by countless younger bands at the moment. They’re on tour now, and tonight’s their first of two NYC shows. The Forms make it a pretty great double bill. Sold out.

Cherry Glazerr, Honduras, Haybaby @ Baby’s All Right
This very young Los Angeles band are in town to open for Julian Casablancas + Voidz on Thursday at House of Vans but play this 18+ show tonight.

Roy Ayers, Operator Emz, Natasha Diggs, $Money Mike$ @ Marcus Garvey Park
Master of good vibes (literally), soul/jazz legend Roy Ayers will have everybody loving the sunshine tonight at this free SummerStage show.

Pharmakon, Damien Dubrovnik, Puce Mary, Varg @ Palisades
Three international experimental artists — Denmark’s Damien Dubrovnik (mem Lust for Youth) and Puce Mary, and Sweden’s Varg — are in the US for this weekend’s Berserktown II fest in LA, but first they stop in NYC tonight. Local and likeminded artist Pharmakon headlines, making for a great bill all around.

Murphy’s Law, Drunken Rampage, Caught In A Trap, Agitator @ Bowery Electric
Murphy’s Law frontman Jimmy Gestapo turns 50 this year, and he and the band are celebrating with this hometown show tonight.

1994!, The Beds, Entia, Clean Girls @ Shea Stadium
Before the “emo revival” broke on a more mainstream level, one of the bands bringing back ’90s-emo was the perfectly named 1994! who mixed noise with Kinsella-style riffs. They haven’t played NYC in a while, but they’re back tonight with The Beds, the noise punk band from another emo revival OG, John Galm (Snowing, Street Smart Cyclist).

Gravehill, Ghoulgotha, Horrendous, Mutant Supremacy @ Acheron
It’s a great night of death metal at the Acheron with Dark Descent labelmates Gravehill, Ghoulgotha and Horrendous, plus local support from Mutant Supremacy.

‘Labyrinth’ screening w/ Charly Bliss @ McCarren Park
Where did the summer go? This is the final SummerScreen of the summer, an audience pick (you’ll be seeing Jim Henson’s fantasy Labyrinth, starring David Bowie) and punky pop act Charly Bliss will play before the movie. 6 PM.

Aparna Nancherla, Dan Soder, Lil Freckles, Naomi Ekperigin, Cynthia Kaplan @ Littlefield
The Woodstock Comedy Festival is presenting this benefit for the Family of Woodstock women’s shelter that features a great lineup of comedians. Get reduced admission when you donate a toiletry item.
