After 16 years, Buena Vista Social Club are saying ‘Audios’ with a world tour — and a double-disc reissue of their debut album. This is the first of two nights at Beacon.

Folk legend Ed Askew just gave the first-ever fully remastered reissue to his 1968 classic Ask the Unicorn and tonight he celebrates its release.

Matt & Kim bring their unrelenting peppiness and indefatigable cheer to Music Hall of Williamsburg tonight with riffy rockers Heliotropes opening.
Ra Ra Riot, PWR BTTM @ Baby’s All Right
While cellist Alexandra Lawn’s presence is missed, Ra Ra Riot continue to make sweeping, emotional, whoa-oh-filled music without her.
Punderdome 3000 @ Littlefield
Comedian Jo Firestone and her dad, Fred, host this live game show that encourages you to be the cheesiest you can. The bigger the groan, the better.
Cake Shop Comedy @ Cake Shop
If you miss Big Terrific and Hannibal Buress’ Sunday night show at Knit, and are looking for a new free, weekly comedy show that happens in a rock club and sometimes has big name talent stop by unexpectedly, “Cake Shop Comedy” might do the trick. Tonight features Jacqueline Novak, Liza Treyger, Erik Bergstrom, and Jena Friedman.
