Mirah

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Mirah, Anni Rossi, Tara Rook @ Manhattan Inn
Alt-singer/songwriter Mirah hasn’t released an album since 2014’s Changing Light, so we may get a sneak peak of what she’s got in her future. Even without new material to support, she’s always got a stacked back catalog of great songs.

Eartheater, Sunk Heaven, Colby Nathan, Tom Kovacevic, Caethua @ Trans Pecos
Alexandra Drewchin is a member of Guardian Alien, but on her own she makes crazy psychedelic music as Eartheater. She’s prolific too — she put out two albums last year.

Sasheer Zamata, Matteo Lane, Liza Treyger @ Bell House
If you feel like you don’t get enough of Sasheer Zamata on Saturday Night Live, here’s a chance to see “Sasheer Zamata For An Hour.”

Seu Jorge @ Blue Note
Best known here in America for acting in City of God and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou (which he scored using only acoustic, Portuguese David Bowie covers), but Brazilian artist Seu Jorge has been making music since the ’90s. This is part of his 10-night run at the Blue Note.

Mike Birbiglia @ The Lynn Redgrave Theater
Comedian Mike Birbiglia has been doing his show “Thank God for the Jokes” for nearly two years. He’s finally putting it to bed, but not before this six-week run.

For all of tonight’s shows, and tomorrow’s, check out our NYC concert calendar.

For laughs, check out the NYC Comedy calendar too.
