You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Brockhampton @ Irving Plaza
Rap collective (or “boy band”) Brockhampton released THREE albums last year and all three were among the best albums of 2017. Paired with a killer live show, Brockhampton were one of the best breakout groups of the year in any genre, and they’re keeping it going in 2018. They have a fourth album promised for this year, and this weekend they play three sold-out GovBall-presented Irving Plaza shows, ahead of their set at GovBall in June. This is night one.

Wolf Eyes, Eric Copeland, Dreamcrusher, HEVM @ Secret Project Robot
Noise band turned heavy rock band Wolf Eyes are currently in residency at Secret Project Robot, and tonight’s show has a great lineup all around with Black Dice’s Eric Copeland, noise newcomer Dreamcrusher, and HEVM (a new project of MV Carbon).

Enter Shikari, Single Mothers, Milk Teeth @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Shape-shifting British synth rockers Enter Shikari are in town supporting last year’s The Spark, and they’ve got two solid openers: angry Canadian punks Single Mothers and UK alt-rock revivalists Milk Teeth.

Jools Holland @ Blue Note
These days Jools Holland is best known as host of popular musical variety series Later…With Jools Holland which has aired on BBC 2 since 1992. He is, of course, an acclaimed musician in his own right, having been an off-and-on member of Squeeze in the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s and currently leads Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. His four-night run at Blue Note — his first NYC shows in 15 years — continues tonight.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Night Beats @ Brooklyn Steel
Channelling leather-and-denim post-JAMC cool, BRMC have been bringing fuzzy psych riffs and attitude for 20 yeras. Their latest record, Wrong Creatures, came out in January.

Springsteen on Broadway @ Walter Kerr Theatre
The Boss continues his completely sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which has now been extended through June! At these shows, Bruce plans to give fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.” After this week, Bruce is taking most of February off, but will return on 2/28.

Lake Ruth, Galaxy Electric @ The Bell House (Frontier Room)
With an icy baroque sound, Lake Ruth (featuring members of The New Lines and Enon) have a sound that’s more than a little like Broadcast and they compare very favorably to them. Their new album, Birds of America, is out later this month. Note: this show is in The Bell House’s front Frontier Room.

David Cross @ Union Hall
The Mr. Show and Arrested Development star will be “Shooting the Shit, Seeing What Sticks” as he tries out new material.

Brian Posehn, Derek Sheen @ The Bell House
Meanwhile, another Mr Show alumni, Brian Posehn, is nearby at The Bell House.
