Tanya Tucker, Brandy Clark, Aubrie Sellers @ Town Hall
Country veteran Tanya Tucker — who had a huge hit in 1972 with “Delta Dawn” to kickstart her career — won her first-ever Grammy awards for Best Country Album, and Best Country Song just this year.

Wolfmanhattan Project, Skull Practitioners @ TV EYE
Wolfmanhattan Project is a garage punk supergroup of Mick Collins (Gories), Kid Congo Powers (The Cramps, Bad Seeds), and Bob Bert (Sonic Youth).

Richard Thompson @ Symphony Space
Songwriting giant, Fairport Convention founding member and one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Richard Thompson flips the concert experience for this special show where spontaneity replaces the setlist. He’ll be letting the audience decide what he plays, in real time, and unknown to all (including Thompson) until the moment he draws an audience request onstage.

Ripe, Phony PPL @ Webster Hall
Boston funk band Ripe headline this show, and if you’re going, don’t miss local genre-defying hip hop/jazz/soul/etc band Phony Ppl.

Lytic, Pique, Service, Chiming @ Windjammer
Lytic is the new-ish band of Jamie Behar who played guitar in Saetia and played guitar and sang in Off Minorm, and they released two splits last year, one with Shizune and one with Amitié., chivàla, and fellow NYC band Pique. Tonight, they share a hometown bill with Pique.

New Sauce with Carmen Christopher & Conner O’Malley @ Union Hall
Two very funny indie comedians Carmen Christopher and Conner O’Malley try out new material sauce tonight.

The Loser’s Lounge “The Rat Pack” @ Joe’s Pub
Joe McGinty & The Loser’s Lounge present the classic songs of The Rat Pack: Frank Sinatra, his pals Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and their fabulous entourage.

Jerry Seinfeld @ Beacon Theatre
It’s been over 20 years since Seinfeld went off the air and Jerry’s still mining humor from minutiae. He continues his monthly Beacon Theatre tonight.

Donny Benet, Party Nails @ Rough Trade
Australian musician Donny Benet plays with Jack Ladder & the Dreamlanders and occasionally Kirin J Callinan, and on his own makes yacht-rock disco of the smoothest variety.

Slow Crush, Grivo @ Saint Vitus Bar
Shoegaze fan alert: Belgium’s Slow Crush and Austin’s Grivo bring their joint tour to Brooklyn for a night of hazy guitar maelstrom.
