You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Orb, Stonefield @ Webster Hall
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are busy this year with a planned FIVE albums on the way, only one of which has seen the light of day (Flying Microtonal Banana). They’re also touring, tonight being the first of two NYC shows with fellow Aussie bands Orb (not the UK chillout pioneer) and Stonefield.

Glasser, Kill Alters, New Optimism @ Baby’s All Right
Brooklyn art-pop maker Glasser hasn’t made an album since 2013 but she’s been playing a few shows lately which may mean she’s finally set to put out something new. Bout time!

Snakehole, Honey, Daggering, Weeping Icon @ Silent Barn
Miami/Philly scuzz-rock firecrackers Snakehole celebrate the release of their new album, Interludes of Insanity (fresh out on Warf Cat), tonight with a solid undercard of challenging, noisy and generally left-of-indie rock.

Pitchfork Britpop Night @ Brooklyn Bazaar
In acknowledgement of “Brexit Day,” Pitchfork published their list of 50 Best Britpop Albums and celebrate tonight with this free party featuring DJ sets from LCD Soundsystem and Interference Pattern’s Tyler Pope, Japanese Breakfast, Elia Einhorn, and Pitchfork’s Stacey Anderson and Jillian Mapes. Expect lots of Blur, Oasis and Pulp. Go and bug them and ask why Cast’s debut album didn’t make the list.

Tony Molina, Dark Blue, Uniform @ Saint Vitus Bar
The hooky, economical songwriting of Tony Molina joins the decidedly broodier Dark Blue and Uniform at this show.

Pill, New Fries, Old Maybe, Ursula @ Sunnyvale
New Fries hail from Toronto and make fun, post-punky noisepop, heavy on the skronk, which makes then excellent company with Brooklyn’s sax-y Pill.

Calvin Love, Pow Pow, Heat @ Berlin
It’s night 2 for Canadian acts Calvin Love and Heat’s three-night residency at East Village club Berlin.

Waxahatchee (solo), Kevin Morby (solo), Julie Byrne @ WFMU Monty Hall
Waxahatchee has some new material in the works, and Kevin Morby recently announced a new album, and they’re both in the process of playing some solo shows together. This is the second of two nights at Jersey City’s Monty Hall, with folk singer Julie Byrne (who just released the great Not Even Happiness) opening.

Beans @ National Sawdust
New York alt-rapper Beans hasn’t released a record since his 2013 collaborative EP with Mux Mool as Knifefight, but he’s about to make up for that in a major way. He’s releasing THREE new albums and a 226-page novel today. This is the release party.

I Am the Polish Army, Tuff Sunshine, Prima, The Royal They @ The Gutter
Despite existing in one form or another for ten years, bluesy indie rock band I Am the Polish Army just now got around to releasing their debut album…which they celebrate tonight.
