What's going on Monday?

The Breeders at Bowery Ballroom
The Breeders @ Bowery Ballroom (more by P Squared)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

The Breeders, Flasher @ Brooklyn Steel
Highly influential indie rock vets The Breeders recently returned with the very solid All Nerve, their first album in a decade (and first with the Last Splash lineup since Last Splash). They’re supporting that album on tour now, and tonight’s their first of three NYC-area shows. Don’t miss Flasher, who pair very well with The Breeders.

Roy Wood$ @ Irving Plaza
Drake collaborator and OVO signee Roy Woods is touring in support of his debut album Say Less, which features other OVO acts like Partynextdoor and dvsn. Tonight’s his first of two Irving Plaza shows.

Ilana Glazer, Phoebe Robinson @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Ilana Glazer (Broad City) and Phoebe Robinson (2 Dope Queens) are re-teaming for more YQY shows (that’s Yaaas Queen Yaaas)…tonight’s the last for now.

Butterboy w/ Jo Firestone, Sasheer Zamata @ Littlefield
Former SNL castmember Sasheer Zamata guest-hosts with regular Butterboy host Jo Firestone tonight, and welcome guests Drennon Davis, Evan Williams, Loyiso Madinga, Maggie Crane, and Calise Hawkins. Last week Chris Gethard was a surprise drop-in, so you never know who will show up.

Whiplash @ Union Hall
This weekly showcase moved from UCB to Union Hall a few weeks ago. Lineups are always a surprise, but you can safely expect a great show for the price.

Lena Hall Performs “Obsessed Elton John” @ Pianos
Lena Hall, who you may know from her Tony Award-winning performance as Yitzhak in the 2014 revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, is releasing Obsessed EPs every month, each one a tribute to a different artist she loves. Her March EP was Elton John and she’ll be performing that tonight.
