Okay Kaya @ Van Leeuwen
NYC-via-Norway musician and director Okay Kaya just released new LP Watch This Liquid Pour Itself and is celebrating with three unique hometown shows. This first of these happens at Williamsburg artisanal ice cream shop Van Leeuwen. In addition to the performance (RSVP is full), Van Leeuwen has also created a vegan ice cream just for the occasion, called Eat Your Feelings.

Butterboy Comedy @ Littlefield
Jo Firestone and Maeve Higgins host this week’s Butterboy which features comedians Josh Gondelman (Desus & Mero, Late Night With Seth Meyers), Holmes Holmes (The Hideout Chicago), Mike Brown (New York Comedy Festival), Julia Johns (MTV’s Girl Code, She-Devil Comedy Fest), and Colette McIntyre (Refinery29).

You can also find quality entertainment on almost any night of the week at: Barbès bar and performance space in Park Slope, LunÀtico in Bed Stuy, Nublu in the East Village, Blue Note jazz club in the West Village, The Stone in multiple locations, Comedy Cellar in the West Village, and Q.E.D. comedy club in Astoria.
