greys-2

What's going on Monday?

Greys at Shea Stadium
Greys at Shea Stadium, 2013 (more by Vladislav Grach)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Greys, Washer, The Cradle, The Hot Flood @ Alphaville
Greys just released their second record Outer Heaven (on Carpark), which moves past the noise punk of their debut into more melodic and diverse territory, but it’s still got its fair share of rippers.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band @ Barclays Center
The Boss wraps up his North American ‘The River’ tour with this sold-out show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

Eyehategod, Tombs, Ache, Haan @ Saint Vitus
NOLA sludge legends Eyehategod continue their reign as one of the genre’s most punishing bands. Their most recent album, 2014’s self-titled LP, crushes as hard as their classic material. Tonight’s their second of two shows at Saint Vitus this week, and they’ll also be back in NYC to open for Discharge in May.

Doug Loves Movies @ Gramercy Theatre
Doug loves weed, and he also digs cinema. He’ll be indulging the latter — taping his Doug Loves Movies podcast — with surprise guests tonight. Sold out.

White Denim, Sam Cohen (of Apollo Sunshine) @ Bowery Ballroom
White Denim recently released their new album Stiff, which is full of the kind of classic rock-style riffing they’ve become known for. This is the first of two sold-out Bowery Ballroom shows.

Night Train w/ Aparna Nancherla @ Littlefield
Aparna Nancherla fills in for regular Night Train host Wyatt Cenac and welcomes guests Alison Leiby, Joe Pera, Khalid Rahmaan, and Mike Drucker.
