London alt-rockers Wolf Alice returned this year with their sophomore album, Visions of a Life, which has gotten even more critical acclaim than their buzzy 2015 debut.
Dark Castle, Pyrolatrous, Somnuri @ Saint Vitus
Florida doom duo Dark Castle haven’t released a new album in a while, but they did reissue their discography this year. This is one of two shows they’re playing this month (the other was in their home state last week).
Butterboy with Jo, Aparna and Maeve’ @ Littlefield
Janeane Garofalo, Jacqueline Novak, Janelle James, Yedoye Travis, and Tommy McNamara are this week’s guests at Littlefield’s new Monday night comedy cavalcade.
Bridget Everett @ Joe’s Pub
