Rainer Maria, Olivia Neutron John @ Saint Vitus
Back in the late ’90s and early/mid ’00s, the Polyvinyl-signed Rainer Maria were one of the leaders of the whole indie/emo thing, which came back in a very big way recently. Rainer Maria were one of many classic bands to reunite, and any chance to see them is one worth taking. BrooklynVegan is proudly presenting this show (their second of two nights), and we hope to see you there.
Joseph Arthur, Teddy Thompson @ City Winery
For the seventh year in a row, very talented musician and visual artist Joseph Arthur is playing a New Year’s Day show at City Winery. He’ll be joined by British folk artist Teddy Thompson and perhaps a few surprise guests.
