You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Soul Clap & Dance-Off w/ Sun Ra Arkestra, The Contortions,Ice Balloons, Ryan Sawyer & more @ Elsewhere
Jonathan Toubin’s monthly dance party takes over all of Elsewehre and tonight features the great Sun Ra Arkestra (who if you’ve never seen, you should), no wave legend James Chance, plus Kyp Malone’s freaky Ice Balloons, plus Kid Congo, drummer Ryan Sawyer and more. Bands start around 8 PM with the dance-off at midnight.

Yo La Tengo with Yuka C. Honda @ Rough Trade
Yo La Tengo just released new album There’s a Riot Going On and today celebrate with this special performance where they’ll sing overtop reworked versions of the album’s songs by Cibo Matto’s Yuka Honda. Should be interesting. 2 PM and you need to buy the album to attend the performance.

“Weird Al” Yankovic, Emo Phillips @ The Paramount
While he’s known for his parody’s of rock and pop songs, “Weird Al” also writes his own original, satirical songs and that’s what he’s playing on this “Ill Advised” tour.

Jenny Hval @ MoMA PS1
Part of MoMA’s VW Sunday Sessions, Jenny Hval plays this site-specific show: “Hval’s performance is a meditation on the sensuality of our everyday movements: the long scrolling movements of our fingers across phones, dreaming over the emoji alphabet, and other private choreography between body and object. She attempts to translate these movements into sound, music, and visuals, wondering how, ‘the things we touch are touching us back.'”

Buffalo Tom, Valley Lodge @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Having just released their first new album in seven years, Boston indie rock vets celebrate — and will probably play old favorites like “Birdbrain” and “Taillights Fade” — tonight.

Judas Priest, Saxon, Black Star Riders @ Nassau Coliseum
Nearly 50 years into their career, the seminal metal group just released the new album Firepower that finds them in roaring, vital form.

Danny L Harle, Serena Jana, Kilbourne, Jen Mas @ Sunnyvale
Part of the PC Music collective of winking dance music producers, Danny L Harle presents “HARLECOR3” with a whole host of DJs.

Springsteen on Broadway
The Boss continues his completely sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which has now been extended through June! At these shows, Bruce is giving fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.”

Murphy’s Law, Moral Panic, Runny @ Brooklyn Bazaar
It’s St. Patrick’s Day … do you feel like moshing?

Biz Markie @ Irving Plaza
Biz is spinning ’80s and ’90s hip hop, R&B and pop tonight.
