Interpol (performing Turn on the Bright Lights), Deerhunter, Battles @ Forest Hills Stadium
One of the landmark albums of the early ’00s NYC indie rock explosion, Interpol’s debut album still sounds great today. They’ll be performing that in full, hopefully along with some other songs, tonight and with opening sets from Deerhunter and Battles, sounds like a great night.

Beloved cult band Have A Nice Life have a sound that’s part shoegaze, part goth, part post-punk, part doom, and more, and a strained, cathartic vocal delivery that connects with fans on a highly emotional level. They play their first NYC show in seven years tonight, and their Flenser labelmate Planning for Burial is on the bill too.

Xiu Xiu @ Union Pool (7 PM & 10 PM shows)
