Conan, The Ditch And The Delta, Godmaker, Goat Wizard @ Saint Vitus
UK doom greats Conan are planning to release a new album on Napalm Records this year, and while details on that album are still TBA, maybe we’ll get some new songs tonight. And surely some old favorites too.
Dessa, Monakr @ Rockwood Music Hall
Doomtree rapper, singer, and spoken word artist Dessa is fresh off releasing her new album Chime and she’s now playing some intimate shows at Rockwood Music Hall tonight and tomorrow. Advance tickets for tonight’s show are sold out but there will be a limited amount available at the door.
You might want to stay home and just watch the 90th Academy Awards which air tonight at 8 PM EST on ABC with host Jimmy Kimmel. Does Get Out have a shot at Best Picture? One thing’s for sure, we’re looking forward to Sufjan performing “Mystery of Love” with St. Vincent, Moses Sumney and more (even though the song will probably lose to The Greatest Showman or Coco).
