What's going on Sunday?

Elvis Costello
Elvis Costello

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Elvis Costello & The Imposters @ The Capitol Theatre
When Elvis pulled out of a Las Vegas residency, New York became the beneficiary of his and The Imposters’ free time, who are here for four shows this week. The Imposters feature original Attractions drummer Pete Thomas and keyboardist Steve Nieve. and Elvis has 50 years of great songwriting to pull from (Wednesday’s Brooklyn Steel setlist was pretty sweet).

Mac Sabbath, Galactic Empire, The Little Mermen @ Brooklyn Bazaar
The name says it pretty much: Mac Sabbath take Black Sabbath songs and rewrite them to be about a certain fast food chain with a clown as the spokesman. Whether you’re loving it still (they’ve been doing it for a while) or grimace, Mac Sabbath do it all for you

Michelle Wolf @ Caroline’s
Comedian Michelle Wolf’s star is rising — she’s hosting this year’s White House Correspondents Dinner and will have her own Netflix late night talk show later this year. Catch her in standup mode tonight.

Homewrecker, Blame God, Bone Plow, Oxalate @ Saint Vitus
Metallic hardcore crushers Homewrecker appear to be teasing a new album, and while details on that are still TBA, they’re on tour now and playing Brooklyn tonight.
