You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Northside Festival
It’s the final day of the 2018 Northside Fest and chances are if one of the below shows is in Williamsburg, Greenpoint or Bushwick it’s a Northside show. You can use a Northside badge if you have one, but venues ofter have caps on the number they admit, so get there early if there’s a show you really want to see.

Parquet Courts, Hailu Mergia @ Rocks Off Concert Cruise
Parquet Courts continues its weekend of “Air, Sea and Land” shows at sea with this Northside-sponsored boat show (that leaves from South Street Seaport, not Brookyn) and features Ethiopian keyboardist Mailu Mergia. Advance tickets are sold out but they will take limited Northside badges.

The Mystery Lights, Jonathan Toubin (Soul Scream), Kid Congo, Breanna Barbara, The Muckers, Cotillon, RIPS, Chorizo, Old Lady @ Our Wicked Lady
Brooklyn superior garage rock crew The Mystery Lights celebrate the release of their new single with a two-day celebration on OWL’s rooftop. Day 2 features Kid Congo (The Cramps, Bad Seeds), RIPS, Breanna Barbara and more. 3 PM start.

Boss Hog, Taiwan Housing Project @ Elsewhere
Jon Spencer and Cristina Martinez’s powerhouse group reactivated a couple years back and they’ll still make you sweat.

ACME (performs the music of Jóhann Jóhannsson) @ Le Poisson Rouge
We lost great composer Jóhann Jóhannsson this year and tonight LPR pays tribute with the ACME ensemble, as part of the venue’s 10th anniversary celebration.

Phil Cook, Jake Xerxes Fussell @ Rough Trade
Megafaun’s Phil Cook recently put out a new solo album, People Are My Drug, and he’s currently supporting the album on tour, hitting NYC tonight.

Lupe Fiasco @ The Surf Lodge
Lupe Fiasco came out swinging in the mid 2000s, but his career fell into mediocrity a bit on later albums, before Lupe made a pretty significant comeback on last year’s Drogas Light. Still riding high off the strength of that album, he plays Montauk’s Surf Lodge tonight and NJ’s Asbury Lanes in July.

Los Lobos @ Prospect Park Bandshell
Americana icons play this Family Day concert as part of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! festival. 3 PM, free.

For all of tonight’s shows, and tomorrow’s, check out our NYC concert calendar.
