Drake & Virgil Abloh’s party w/ DJ Spade, Shiggy @ Brooklyn Mirage
Drake and Migos have tonight off from their seven-show NYC run, and while he’s here, Drake is teaming with fashion designer/DJ Virgil Abloh for this day party. What the party will actually entail? You’ll just have try to get in to find out.

Belly @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
The classic lineup of ’90s alt-rock greats Belly reformed a few years ago and this year delivered their first record in more than two decades. Tanya Donnelly’s voice is still powerful and the new songs sit nicely amongst old faves like “Feed the Tree” and “Slow Dog.”

Thursday, Anthony Green @ Asbury Lanes
NJ post-hardcore greats Thursday wrap up their home-state full-albums run tonight with a performance of 2003’s War All The Time. Fellow post-hc vet Anthony Green (Circa Survive, Sound of Animals Fighting, etc) opens with a solo set.

Vetiver, Espers @ White Eagle Hall
Psych-folk revivalists Espers are back for their first shows since 2009 (in the time since then, Meg Baird formed the killer Heron Oblivion), and these shows are with their old pals Vetiver. This great double bill hits Jersey City tonight.

Dryjacket, Wild Pink, ManDancing, Tony Clark (Prawn) @ Asbury Park Brewery

Dashboard Confessional, All Time Low, GNASH @ Stone Pony
With their first album in nine years under their belts, emo vets Dashboard Confessional have been touring all year. They hit Asbury Park tonight.

Impalers, Headsplitters, Twisted Thing, Scalpel, Stigmatism @ Union Pool
Having just opened one of the rare Annihilation Time shows, the Power Trip-related hardcore band Impalers play their own Brooklyn show tonight.

Oceanator, Bartees & The Strange Fruit, Riverkeeper @ ALPHAVILLE
Local indie rocker Oceanator released a very promising EP on Tiny Engines earlier this year, and she plays her hometown tonight.

Multicult, Couch Slut, Heads., Opening Bell @ Brooklyn Bazaar
Brooklyn Bazaar hosts a noisy lineup, highlighted by the uncompromising local greats Couch Slut.

Gringo Star, Brother Reverend, Las Hormiguitas @ Rough Trade

A whole bunch of great artists, including Guerilla Toss, Sunwatchers and Kyp Mallone, are performing as part of this benefit show supporting Just Leadership USA, an organization fighting for the closure of Rikers Island and for decarceration and prison closure nationwide. Early start: 4:30 PM.

Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall) @ Joe’s Pub
Comedian and actor Scott Thompson revives one of his most famous Kids in the Hall characters, lounge lizard Buddy Cole, for an “evening of humorous monologues from the period the show went off the air in 1995 to the present day.
