What's going on Sunday?

ACL Festival 2018, Weekend 1 - Friday
Brockhampton @ ACL Fest 2018 (more)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Brockhampton @ Terminal 5
Brockhampton’s great new album Iridescence is out now, and they’re about to do three nights at NYC’s huge Terminal 5. Tonight and tomorrow are sold out, but you can still grab tickets to Wednesday’s show.

Yamantaka//Sonic Titan, Russian Baths, Gold Dime @ Elsewhere
Having released their third album, Dirt, earlier this year Toronto’s Yamantaka // Sonic Titan bring their one-of-a-kind live show and sound to Brooklyn.

Landlady, Adam Schatz, Sam Cohen, Arone Dyer (of Buke & Gase), Starr Busby @ Littlefield
According to Landlady main man Adam Schatz, “Transmissions from Landladyland LIVE” is “a unique new residency from the well-tempered mind of Landlady’s own Adam Schatz. Each week Adam & special guests will have conversations, play their own songs, make other sounds together, and who knows what else.”

The Vapors, Split Squad @ Mercury Lounge
New wave vets The Vapors were only briefly around in the late ’70s and early ’80s and released just two albums (the first of which produced their one hit, “Turning Japanese,”), and after reuniting in 2016 for the first time in 30+ years, they’re now finally playing NYC. They’re at Mercury Lounge for three sold-out nights. This is night three.

Persisticon II: The Rockening – Janeane Garofalo, Murray Hill, Dave Hill, Abbi Crutchfield, Theo Kogan, Shasta Geaux Pop, Emily Cain, and lots more! @ The Bell House
A whole bunch of funny people are on hand to celebrate the release of “Women Who Rock: Bessie to Beyonce. Girl Groups to Riot Grrrl.”

Wyatt Cenac, Kate Willett @ Union Hall
Wyatt Cenac is performing every Sunday in October at Union Hall for a series he calls “It’s Maybe Something With Wyatt Cenac.”

Portland Cello Project (Performs Radiohead’s OK Computer) @ (le) poisson rouge
Nine cellos, 12 songs, one classic album.

Carl Palmer @ Iridium
Carl is the only surviving member of Emerson Lake & Palmer and pays tribute to them at this “ELP Legacy show.”
