What's going on Sunday?

The Breaks Volume II at Toyota Park
Wu-Tang @ The Breaks, Chicago (more by James Richards IV)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Wu-Tang Clan, Funkmaster Flex @ Terminal 5
Wu-Tang Clan’s 1993 debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) changed hip hop as we know it, recently turned 25, and it sounds as good today as the day it came out. To celebrate the occasion, the Wu are playing the songs of that album at Terminal 5. This is their second of two shows.

Thin Lips, Grace Vonderkuhn, Earth Telephone, Luke Henderiks @ Asbury Park Brewery
Having just played Brooklyn on Thursday, Philly indie-punks Thin Lips are now in Asbury Park in continued support of their very enjoyable 2018 album Chosen Family.

Polyenso, Sea Cycles, Millenium Youth, Fr33dback @ Mercury Lounge
Polyenso just recently released the Year of the Dog EP, which sees them making electronic art rock in the vein of Sufjan Stevens’ Age of Adz or the last Foxing album. They’re now supporting it on tour and hitting NYC tonight.

Weasel Walter Trio, Electrician, Dan Hintz @ Muchmore’s
Flying Luchtenbachers founder and Lydia Lunch collaborator Weasel Walter plays tonight with his trio that includes Michael Foster (sax, electronics) and Dominika Michalowska (vocals, electronics).
