You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

James Blake, Khushi @ Terminal 5
Tonight marks James Blake’s first of two shows at Terminal 5 behind the excellent, personal Assume Form, featuring an opening set from collaborator and rising UK songwriter Khushi.

Josh Rouse @ Joe’s Pub
Veteran songwriter Josh Rouse stops in NYC tonight to kick off a two-night run at Joe’s Pub, supporting last year’s lush Love in the Modern Age.

Ben Fama’s Deathwish: a book release, with live sets by Liturgy, ACCDNTL DRED @ Saint Vitus Bar
Author Ben Fama celebrates his new book Deathwish at this free release party, which features live music from black metal greats Liturgy and ACCNDTL DRED. According to the book description, Deathwish “drops us back into the beauty and the fantasies teased out in his first book Fantasy, re-braiding them through BDSM scenarios, metaphysical inquiries, and the maximalism of the contemporary.”

Kill Alters, Weeping Icon, James Brandon Lewis Trio, Yvette, Eartheater, Oyasaba @ Secret Project Robot
This is “Music Against Mass Incarceration IV,” which is a benefit for Sylvia Rivera Law Project.

Tonight is also the Oscars where Roma is up against Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star Is Born, Green Book, and more. Lady Gaga, Queen and more are performing.
