You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Jeff Tweedy, Haley Heynderickx, Gangstagrass, John Fullbright, Branjae @ Town Hall
Woody Guthrie‘s classic “This Land Is Your Land” turns 80 this year, and the anniversary will be celebrated tonight with Jeff Tweedy, Haley Heynderickx, Gangstagrass, John Fullbright and Branjae. The concert is being presented by Tulsa’s Woody Guthrie Center, and proceeds will benefit the center.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead @ The Capitol Theatre
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead are one of the most beloved Grateful Dead tribute bands around, and they’ve got a truly great cast of players. This is night three of their three-night run at the Cap.

Judah Friedlander, Nathan Macintosh, Aminah Imani, Carmen Lagala, Damon Sumner @ Littlefield
This edition of “Comedians You Should Know” includes Judah Friedlander (30 Rock), Nathan MacIntosh (Fallon), Aminah Imani (Wine Before Nine), Carmen Lagala (Colbert), Damon Sumner (Fourth and Ten), and Mike Lebovitz (Last Comic Standing).

Deep Space, Francois K @ Public Records
For over a decade DJ François K. hosted legendary party Deep Space, first at Cielo and then Output, both of which are now gone so now it’s taken up a new home at Public Records (with a soundsystem worthy of it’s dubby vibe) and tonight’s the launch of their residency.

Phoebe Robinson @ Union Hall
Comedian Phoebe Robinson, of podcast and HBO special 2 Dope Queens and WNYC podcast Sooo Many White Guys, hosts another of her “And Friends” shows tonight.

Sam Jayne, August Wells, Rob Bryn @ Union Pool
Looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon? Union Pool is offering up this free “Afternoon Hang” headlined by duo August Wells (aka former Rollerskate Skinny member Kenneth Griffin and pianist John Rauchenberger). 2 PM (Union Pool’s “brunch special,” aka a breakfast taco and a bloody mary, is pretty sweet too.)

You can also find quality entertainment on almost any night of the week at: Barbès bar and performance space in Park Slope, LunÀtico in Bed Stuy, Nublu in the East Village, Blue Note jazz club in the West Village, The Stone in multiple locations, Comedy Cellar in the West Village, and Q.E.D. comedy club in Astoria.
