What's going on Sunday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

STEVENSTEVEN (Steve from Blue’s Clues and Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips) @ Brooklyn Bowl (1 PM)
Steve Burns, best known as the originally host of Blue’s Clues, has been making records with help from various Flaming Lips members since the early ’00s. He and Lips drummer/multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd are now making more expressly kid-firendly music as STEVENSTEVEN that will still appeal to parents.

Run The Jewels, The Gaslamp Killer, Gangsta Boo, Nick Hook, Cuz @ Terminal 5
Killer Mike and El-P are both bigger than ever thanks to Run the Jewels, who recently released their excellent third album as a surprise Christmas gift. They’re on tour now, and they’re in the midst of a four-night run at Terminal 5. This is night 2.

The Body, Muslin, Lingua Ignota @ Saint Vitus
Having just wrapped up a tour with Alcest, genre-defying heavy band The Body play their own show in NYC tonight.

Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Elysia Crampton, Dreamcrusher @ MoMA PS1
“Remixing Gender, Technology, and Music” is a series of performances, talks, screenings, and workshops that “highlight and investigate the relationship between gender nonconforming identities, technology, and electronic music.”

Mega Bog, Christina Schneider’s Jepeto Solutions, Sheer Agony, Potted Plant @ The Glove
Erin Birgy makes kinda weird, kinda wonderful music as Mega Bog, easier to enjoy than to describe. Her new album, Happy Together, is well worth exploring. She celebrates its release tonight with Montreal’s great Sheer Agony, making for a great night.

William Matheny, Nathan Xander, Charles Bissell of The Wrens @ Union Hall
We really, really can’t wait to hear The Wrens’ long-awaited followup to 2003’s The Meadowlands. In the meantime, we can hear Charles play some solo songs in Brooklyn tonight.
