Roomful of Teeth, Nick Zammuto @ Merkin Concert Hall“The omnivorous sonic explorations of Nick Zammuto (The Books) come together with the equally far-reaching soundworld of Grammy-winning vocal octet Roomful of Teeth, who explore the full range of the human vocal apparatus, from Tuvan throat singing and yodeling to Korean P’ansori and Persian classical singing.” This is part of the 2017 Ecstatic Msuic Festival.
The Gift, Friend Roulette @ Baby’s All Right
Portugal’s The Gift has been at it for two decades and just released Altar, their first album that’s entirely in English, which was produced by Brian Eno. Check out their new single “Big Fish” below.
