What's going on Sunday?

Inter Arma
Inter Arma

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Inter Arma, Woe, Holy Mountain Top Removers @ Saint Vitus
Last year, Inter Arma released the colossal, genre-defying Paradise Gallows, which had bits of black metal, doom, psychedelia, Swans-like noise, and more. Making for a killer pairing is Woe, who just released the black metal/hardcore blend, Hope Attrition.

Come Together: Music Festival and Label Market @ MoMA PS1
The folks behind sorely missed NYC record store Other Music put together this all-day event that is part music festival and record fair, with a little industry conference, film fest and more thrown in. Performances include a collab set from Black Quantum Futurism (Moor Mother & Rasheedah Phillips), Mantana Roberts and GENG; a solo set by Frankie Cosmos; and more.

Marissa Nadler, Kayo Dot @ Monty Hall
Having both just opened for Pallbearer in NYC last night, dark folk singer Marissa Nadler and avant-garde-metal-turned-synthpop band Kayo Dot team up on their own in Jersey City tonight.

Mykki Blanco, Cakes Da Killa @ Bowery Ballroom
The Stunt Queen Tour brings together two of New York’s best, most interesting rappers, Mykki Blanco and Cakes Da Killa. Mykki and Cakes really excel in a live environment, so this should be a fun night.

Laura Stevenson, Adult Mom, Hiccup @ Rough Trade
Laura Stevenson’s sound varies from hushed singer/songwriter stuff to driving melodic punk. She just released her first live album, and now she’s on tour. This is her second of two NYC shows on this run. Adult Mom just announced their new LP for Tiny Engines. Hiccup share members with The Unlovables and The Chris Gethard Show’s house band.

She Keeps Bees, New Myths, What Moon Things, LANTRNS, Citris @ Knitting Factory (Planned Parenthood benefit)
A handful of good local bands come together for a good cause at Knitting Factory Brooklyn tonight.
