What's going on Sunday?

Me First

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Foreseen, Red Death, Razorheads, Hotheads @ Sunnyvale
Helsinki crossover thrash revivalists Foreseen just released their new album Grave Danger on Friday. They’re on tour now with punishing DC hardcore band Red Death.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Masked Intruder, PEARS @ Webster Hall
Everyone’s favorite pop punk cover band, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are back on the road. The band’s lineup is NOFX’s Fat Mike, Lagwagon’s Joey Cape and Dave Raun, Foo Fighters/No Use For A Name’s Chris Shiflett, and Spike Slawson (ex-Swingin’ Utters), but for this tour, Fat Mike is being replaced by Bad Religion’s Jay Bentley and Chris Shiflett is being replaced by his brother Scott (of Face to Face). Opening is masked punks Masked Intruder, and the very good melodic hardcore band PEARS.

Unwed Sailor, Brian Bonz @ Mercury Lounge
Post-rock collective Unwed Sailor have been at it since the late ’90s. They haven’t released an album sine 2008, but main member Johnathon Ford and his rotating lineup remain active as a live band.

Man Forever, CCDS, Collapsible Shoulder @ Knockdown Center
When he’s not playing drums in Oneida, Kid Millions makes music on his own as Man Forever. He’s got a new album, Play What They Want, due out next month and he headlines this show tonight.

Tonstartssbandht, Dougie Poole, Turnip King @ The Park Church Co-Op
Florida/NYC/Montreal experimental, improvisational duo Tonstartssbandht recently released their new album Sorcerer, but the real way to get what they do is to see them live.
