donuts

What's going on Sunday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Donuts Are Forever @ Brooklyn Bowl
The late, legendary J Dilla is being celebrated tonight with the 12th annual Donuts Are Forever, which will have music by Donwill, Khalil, DJ Parler, Twelve45, DJ Nyah, GETLIVE!, and The Whooligan. Mike Baker is hosting.

Uniform, Lingua Ignota, Dreamcrusher, Anatomy @ Saint Vitus
Noise/industrial/hardcore band Uniform are now a trio with Greg Fox (Liturgy, Guardian Alien, Ex Eye) on drums, and though their shows were already punishing as a duo, Greg is a beast so this should be a real treat.

Wino, DMP, Mora Tau @ Lucky 13
After spending last year reunited with his old band The Obsessed (who put out a new album), doom metal legend Wino plays a rare solo acoustic show in Brooklyn tonight.

John Mulaney @ Radio City (two shows)
John Mulaney’s sitcom may have not been a hit but people clearly love his comedy, as this seven-show run at Radio City Music Hall shows.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic @ The Paramount
There’s nobody else quite like George Clinton, whose influence on popular (and less popular) music cannot be overstated. Having just released a new single featuring Scarface, P-Funk are currently on their annual Mardi Gras tour.

David Cross @ Union Hall
The Mr Show and Arrested Development star has been testing out new material at a series of Union Hall shows he’s dubbed “Shootin’ the Shit, Seeing What Sticks.”
