What's going on Sunday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Dan Klein Benefit Show feat. The Dap Kings, The Slackers, The FRIGHTNRS, The Far East @ Brooklyn Bowl
The FRIGHTNRS frontman Dan Klein was recently diagnosed with ALS, and this is a benefit show for him, including soul greats The Dap-Kings, ska vets The Slackers, and more.

Lauryn Hill @ Wellmont Theatre
Though Lauryn Hill still hasn’t released another album besides her timeless 1998 debut, she did recently put out a new single and we have no complaints about hearing the classics.

Doro @ Blackthorn 51
Heavy metal wailer Doro Pesch fronted the bombastic German band Warlock in the ’80s and she’s had a steady solo career going since the end of that decade. Tonight’s show is sure to have some fun classics.

Adult Books, Go!Zilla, Roaring 420s @ Berlin
Hailing from Firenze, Italy, highly excitable garagey trio Go!Zilla released their second album, Sinking in Your Sea, last year. They play tonight with German garage rockers Roaring 420s.

Sam Cohen, Jack and Eliza, Jesse Harris (and Star Rover) @ Manhattan Inn
Former Yellowbirds and Apollo Sunshine frontman headlines this intimate show, that also features talented duo Jack & Eliza.

Peter Case @ Rockwood Music Hall
Best known for his jangly ’80s band The Plimsouls (and their college radio classic “A Million Miles Away”), Peter Case plays solo tonight.

Mike Birbiglia @ The Lynn Redgrave Theater
Comedian Mike Birbiglia has been doing his show “Thank God for the Jokes” for nearly two years. He’s putting it to bed, but not before this run which just got extended through May.

John Hughes Trivia @ Videology
Both Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off turn 30 this year, and this event will test your knowledge of John Hughes’ ’80s teen oeuvre. BrooklynVegan’s own Bill Pearis is hosting this free event. 7 PM.
