You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Bob Dylan and His Band @ Beacon Theatre
Bob Dylan needs no introduction, and it’s truly a treat that he still performs as frequently as he does over half a century into his career. He’s in the midst of a seven-show Beacon Theatre run.

The Hold Steady, Jeff Rosenstock @ Brooklyn Bowl
This is night two of The Hold Steady’s third annual ‘Massive Nights’ holiday run at Brooklyn Bowl, and this one is being opened with a solo set from Jeff Rosenstock, who released his killer new album POST- this year.

Kurt Vile, Frankie Cosmos @ Brooklyn Steel
Kurt Vile is on tour supporting the great Bottle It In, which is sort of a return to the laid-back jams of 2013’s Wakin On A Pretty Daze. This is his second of two nights at Brooklyn Steel, and indie pop artist Frankie Cosmos opens this one.

Light Asylum, Korine, Ghost Cop @ Brooklyn Bazaar
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Shannon Funchess’ EBM-inspired project Light Asylum and its good to see her back!

Ladies of LCD Soundsystem @ Good Room
Nancy Whang and Gavin Rayna Russom bring their branded DJ tour back home to Brooklyn.

Oliver Coates, Visible Cloaks @ National Sawdust
Radiohead collaborator Oliver Coates is not your average cellist, doing things with his instrument few do. Currently on tour with Thom Yorke, he plays this sold-out headlining show tonight.

Statik Selektah, UFO Fev, CJ Fly, Nems, Crimeapple, DJ Nef & more @ Chelsea Music Hall
The great hip hop DJ Statik Selektah has a new monthly party at Chelsea Music Hall called Showoff Thursdays, and this one celebrates the release of his new album with Termanology, Still 1982. It doesn’t seem like Termanology is set to perform with Statik, but UFO Fev, CJ Fly, Nems, Crimeapple, and others are.

Anais Mitchell, Moonheart @ Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2
While Anais Mitchell’s folk opera Hadestown gears up for its Broadway debut in March, Anais herself is staying busy and playing a sold-out NYC show tonight.

Casey Jordan Weissbuch, Janitor, Emmerson & Her Clammy Hands, Wreath @ ALPHAVILLE
Having played drums with Mitski, Diarrhea Planet, Colleen Green, Jaill, and others, Casey Weissbuch is going solo.

San Fermin @ Baby’s All Right
Pop classical ensemble San Fermin play this intimate and pricey benefit for Brooklyn Youth Chorus.

Maxwell @NYCB Theatre at Westbury
Soul and R&B great Maxwell is gearing up to complete his NIGHT trilogy in 2019 and is currently on his “50 Intimate Nights” tour small theaters like Wellmont.

Chris Gethard, Akilah Hughes, Brittany Luse, Eric Eddings @ The Bell House
Lifehacker presents this show called “How to Fail,” featuring comedian Chris Gethard who’s new book is all about learning from failure.

Ilana Glazer @ Union Hall
While we wait for the final season of Broad City, co-creator Ilana Glazer is doing four nights of “Ilana Glazer & Friends” shows at Union Hall.

Springsteen on Broadway
The Boss continues his sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which wraps up soon — December 15. At these shows, Bruce is giving fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.”

JD Samson presents PAT Party @ Union Pool
It’s time for JD Samson’s monthly PAT Party, featuring “good vibes, good sound, video projection by local video artists and DJ’s that aren’t afraid to go deep.”
