Atmosphere, The Lioness, DJ Keezy, Nikki Jean @ Webster Hall
Alt-rap vets Atmosphere surprise-released their new album Whenever last month, and now they’re on tour in support of it and hitting NYC tonight.

The Sadies, Cliff Westfall @ Union Pool
Canadian group The Sadies have been making twangy, gritty indie rock for 25 years and remain a fiery live act. This is the first of two Union Pool shows which are both likely to be marathon length.

Peter Murphy @ (le) poisson rouge
The Bauhaus frontman wraps up his Le Poisson Rouge residency with two David Bowie tributes, tonight’s the first.

James Vincent McMorrow @ Murmrr Theatre
Indie folk-turned-R&B singer/songwriter James Vincent McMorrow was supposed to play this show in December but had to postpone due to visa issues but with all that red tape sorted, one with the show.

Stretch & Bobbito + the M19s Band @ Gramercy Theatre
Last week, legendary hip hop (and beyond) radio DJs Stretch & Bobbito released their first-ever album, No Requests, recorded with the live backing band The M19s Band. They celebrate the album live with that backing band tonight.

Snoop Dogg @ The Wellmont Theater
Snoop Dogg hits Montclair, NJ tonight in support of his new album I Wanna Thank Me, so expect some stuff from that, but he’ll surely play the classics too.

Greg Fox, Saajtak, Wsabi Fox @ C’mon Everybody
Drummer Greg Fox headlines this show that also features Detroit-based art rock band Saajtak.

Josh Gondelman, Joe Pera, Cipha Sounds, Shalewa Sharpe @ The Sultan Room
This week’s edition of the Good God comedy show is very strong (and sold out).
