Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Prodigy & Big Pun Tribute, Fat Joe, Tha Liks, dead prez, Beatnuts, Pete Rock + special guests @ Radio City Music Hall
Loud Records has been in the midst of doing some 25th anniversary celebrations, and they’re doing another one tonight with a stacked lineup of hip hop vets. Highlights include a Prodigy tribute featuring his former Mobb Deep partner Havoc (who has kept Mobb Deep alive after Prodigy’s passing) and a Big Pun tribute featuring Fat Joe and a special guest.

The LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch) @ Sony Hall
Another option for veteran hip hop tonight is Yonkers legends The LOX, who released their first album in 16 years in 2016 and kept busy since.

Wolf Eyes, Foster Care, Blazer Sound System @ Union Pool
Detroit experimental noise animals Wolf Eyes kick off a two night stay at Union Pool with underrated garage punks Foster Care and dub DJs Blazer Sound System.

Molly Nilsson, BDX @ Market Hotel
Swedish singer-songwriter Molly Nilsson makes minimal wave synthpop that is both icy and warm. She’s billing tonight as a celebration of the lunar new year.

Seratones, Dida Pelled @ Rough Trade
Shreveport, Louisiana’s Seratones — fueled by the powerful pipes of gospel-trained frontwoman A.J. Haynes — make fuzzed-out garage soul and released their second album, Power, last August. Tonight’s show is with Israeli guitarist and vocalist Dida Pelled.

Chris Gethard Presents All Stars @ Union Hall
Chris Gethard is showcasing some of the performers he’s collaborated with on his current cable access series tonight, including Martin Urbano, Christi Chiello, and Sam Taggart.

Vijay Iyer (solo) @ Jazz Standard
Contemporary jazz great Vjay Iyer continues his run of shows at Jazz Standard, with two shows a night through February 1. Tonight and tomorrow’s shows find him performing with his trio (featuring bassist Linda May Han Oh and drummer Tyshawn Sorey).

Pilot to Gunner, Sold, LAPeCHE, Space Merchants @ Gold Sounds
NYC indie/post-hardcore vets Pilot to Gunner play a hometown show tonight, and it’s an all-around solid, mostly-local bill.

You can also find quality entertainment on almost any night of the week at: Barbès bar and performance space in Park Slope, LunÀtico in Bed Stuy, Nublu in the East Village, Blue Note jazz club in the West Village, The Stone in multiple locations, Comedy Cellar in the West Village, and Q.E.D. comedy club in Astoria.
