You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

The Breeders, Screaming Females @ Terminal 5
Highly influential indie rock vets The Breeders recently returned with the very solid All Nerve, their first album in a decade (and first with the Last Splash lineup since Last Splash). They’re supporting that album on tour now, and tonight’s their second of three NYC-area shows. If you’re going, don’t miss shredding NJ punks Screaming Females.

Young Fathers, Deem Spencer @ Elsewhere (Zone One)
Scotland’s genre-defying alternative hip hop/rock/etc band Young Fathers recently released their new album Cocoa Sugar on Ninja Tune, and they’re supporting it with a few US shows this month. Tonight’s is sold out.

Roy Wood$ @ Irving Plaza
Drake collaborator and OVO signee Roy Woods is touring in support of his debut album Say Less, which features other OVO acts like Partynextdoor and dvsn. Tonight’s his second of two Irving Plaza shows.

Eleanor Friedberger, Purr @ Bowery Ballroom
The onetime Fiery Furnaces frontwoman celebrates the release of her new album, Rebound.

Dream Wife, Surfbort, Wooing @ Rough Trade
UK/Icelandic band Dream Wife make the kinds of hooky, jagged alt-rock that would’ve fit in perfrectly in the mid-’00s landscape of Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Kills.

Ganser, Winkie, Deaf Poets @ Saint Vitus Bar
Chicago’s Ganser make dark, angular rock that pulls from gothy post-punk and no wave, as can be heard on their brand-new album Odd Talk.

David Cross @ The Bell House
David Cross will be touring his new show “Oh Come On,” starting in June but he’s still tweaking the jokes at a few more intimate Brooklyn shows.

Todd Rundgren’s Utopia @ The Paramount
Todd Rundgren is getting the band back together, specifically his ’70s progressive rock group Utopia, and the lineup this time features bassist Kasim Sulton, drummer Willie Wilcox and keyboardist Ralph Shuckett.

Springsteen on Broadway
The Boss continues his sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which has now been extended through December. At these shows, Bruce is giving fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.”
