The Magic Numbers

What's going on Tuesday?

The Magic Numbers
The Magic Numbers

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

The Magic Numbers, Minihorse @ Rough Trade
UK group The Magic Numbers, who are best known in the U.S. for their 2005 debut album which had such songs as “Forever Lost and “Love’s a Game,” just released new LP  Outsiders, which still finds them in heartfelt guitar pop mode.

Cracker, Lauren Morrow @ City Winery
David Lowery’s ’90s-era twangy alt-rock hitmakers get low tonight.

Foo Fighters, The Struts @ MSG
Ever-popular rockers Foo Fighters wrap up their NYC-area run with their second MSG show.

It’s Time for a Little Show @ Union Hall
Comedians Sarah Sherman (Chicago’s Helltrap Nightmare), Sandy Honig (Adult Swim’s Three Busy Debras), and experimental comedian and “aspiring actress” Ruby McCollister all bring their unique, often grotesque takes on female embodiment and tropes of womanhood – desperate housewives, beauty-obsessed skincare addicts, and aspiring actresses. “It’s Time for a Little Show” blends their three separate acts into one night of grotesque humor from the women who will hopefully define the face of absurdist comedy in the near future.

Sweet @ The Slipper Room
Seth Herzog (Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) brings SNL alumni Vanessa Bayer and Sasheer Zamata to the intimate stage at the Slipper Room for his weekly show, Sweet. They’re also joined by Phoebe Robinson (2 Dope Queens), actor Wayne Federman (Funny People, Transparent), and DC Benny (Comedy Central).

Chuck Prophet and the Mission Express @ WFMU Monty Hall
Singer-songwriter and onetime Green on Red frontman continues to make terrific records, most recently 2017’s Bobby Fuller Died For Your Sins.
