There's No Leaving New York at Forest Hills Stadium - Sunday
Cat Power at Forest Hills Stadium in September (more by Amanda Hatfield)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Cat Power, Reverend Baron @ Brooklyn Steel
Chan Marshall released her first Cat Power album in six years this year — Wanderer — that was a return to the kind of low key charmer she gave us with Moon Pix and You Are Free.

CupcakKe, Dai Burger, Gooddroid @ Le Poisson Rouge
CupcakKe released not one but two great albums this year, and they’ve both got plenty of her trademark raunch but there’s also a greater depth to them than you might think from her most popular singles. Her live shows are also always a party, as you can experience tonight.

Hiss Golden Messenger @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Indie folk singer Hiss Golden Messenger has been touring all year and tonight he’s back in NYC in continued support of 2017’s Hallelujah Anyhow.

SWEET w/ Seth Herzog, David Cross, Questlove, Sal Vulcano, Chris Barron, Dion Flynn, Julia Mattison, JC Cassis, Julian Velard, Surprise Guest @ Chelsea Music Hall
Seth Herzog celebrates the holidays with this special edition of SWEET at Chelsea Music Hall, featuring David Cross, Questlove, a “super surprise guest,” and more.

Midge Ure @ Iridium
Armed with a string of Ultravox, Visage and solo classics, Midge Ure and band play their first of two nights at Iridium tonight. It being the holidays, you might even hear Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” which he co-wrote

Justin Vivian Bond is Refrigerated @ Joe’s Pub
Cabaret legend and one half of iconic duo Kiki & Herb, Justin Vivian Bond presents this holiday show where “the elite and the sandwich meet, Jesus is in the cheeses, and the Goddess’ dressing is on the side. If the power holds the patriarchy will soon be crushed ice! That’s cold!”
