What's going on Tuesday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Le Butcherettes, The Yin Yangs, NOMADS @ Saint Vitus
Teri Gender Bender’s garage punk band Le Butcherettes put on cathartic, unhinged performances that you just have to experience for yourself. They’ve made fans out of the members of the Melvins and At the Drive-In, both of which they work very closely with (including in the new supergroup Crystal Fairy, which has Teri backed by Melvins and ATDI members).

Anna Meredith, Dave Harrington Group, Sarah Kinlaw @ Baby’s All Right
Last year, experimental London musician Anna Meredith released her excellent debut album Varmints. Now she’s supporting it on her first ever US tour, which hits NYC tonight. Openers are Darkside member Dave Harrington and SoftSpot member Sarah Kinlaw.

Wilco, Jake Xerxes Fussell @ Beacon Theater
Wilco continue their four-night run at Beacon. The first two shows, which were with opener Joan Shelley, had very different setlists — the two remaining shows should prove equally as varied (plus Jake Xerxes Fussell opens).

Dead Leaf Echo, Desert Mountain Tribe, Autodrone, Those Creatures, James Richardson (of MGMT – DJ Set) @ Berlin
Brooklyn shoegaze unit Dead Leaf Echo celebrate the release of their new EP tonight. Berlin is a very small club and DLE are very very loud. Be prepared!

Tennis, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever @ Bowery Ballroom
Known for having written their first album on a year-long sailing trip, husband-and-wife duo Tennis just released new album Yours Conditionally, which finds them still exploring yacht rock sounds. Australian tourmates Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever are on their first visit to America and just played SXSW (including an impressive set at one of our day parties).

Buke and Gase, Trevor Dunn, Ryan Sawyer, Sally Gates, Isis Swaby (DJ Set) @ Union Pool
Buke and Gase’s experimental, improvisational residency continues. Surprise guests are promised.

For all of tonight’s shows, and tomorrow’s, check out our NYC concert calendar.
