St. Vincent at Kings Theatre
St. Vincent at Kings Theatre in 2017 (more by Amanda Hatfield)

What's going on Tuesday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

St. Vincent, Maggie Rogers @ Skylight Studios
St. Vincent released her excellent new album MASSEDUCTION last year and she’s continuing to support it on tour with a very special live show. Tonight she plays this show as “Mastercard House” (aka Skylight Studios) and you need to be a Mastercard holder to get in. Capacity is limited, so get there early and good luck!

Hamilton Leithauser @ Café Carlyle
“Jacket required” is certainly not a problem for snappy dresser and former Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser who continues his 10-night run at swanky dinner club Cafe Carlyle.

Springsteen on Broadway @ Walter Kerr Theatre
The Boss continues his completely sold-out “Springsteen on Broadway” run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, which has now been extended through June! At these shows, Bruce plans to give fans shows “that are as personal and as intimate as possible.”

Hinds, Adore Acevedo @ Elsewhere
Spanish indie pop band Hinds just announced their new album I Don’t Run and released the lead single “New For You,” and now they’re coming to NYC for a last-minute, intimate one-off where they’ll presumably preview more of the new album. It gets released in April and they’ll do a full tour surrounding its release, including a return to NYC for a much larger show at Warsaw in May.

Sloppy Jane, Eyes Of Love, Leila Bordreuil and Michael Foster Duo @ Mercury Lounge
Sloppy Jane’s shows are part concert, part performance art, and it’s one of those things that you just have to see for yourself to fully experience.

Sleigh Bells, Dream Wife, Sabri @ Rough Trade
Energetic pop rockers Sleigh Bells play an intimate show for their standards tonight, and Sleigh Bells fans may dig buzzy openers Dream Wife.
