Four Tet @ Brooklyn Steel
Four Tet’s last Brooklyn shows were dazzling and intimate with immersive lighting. We’ll see what he’s got in store for these two, much bigger shows this week.

H.C. McEntire, Monteagle @ Rough Trade
Last year, Mount Moriah singer went solo and released the great Lionheart on Merge, and also supported it with tons of touring with her ace backing band. Tonight, H.C. and her band are back in Brooklyn.

‘Lords of Chaos’ party with Black Anvil @ Saint Vitus
Lords of Chaos — the new film about Norwegian black metal (based on the 1998 book of the same name) that stars Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Jack Kilmer, Sky Ferreira, and Valter Skarsgard, and features music by Sigur Ros is out this Friday and tonight’s a special release party featuring a live set from Black Anvil.

Dawes @ Beacon Theatre
Coming off last year’s Passwords, Dawes will be playing a special “An Evening With” show tonight featuring two sets and no opener.

Amy Rigby, George Usher @ Mercury Lounge
Terrific singer-songwriter Amy Rigby, whose Tom Petty tribute you may remember from last year, plays this Mercury Lounge 25th anniversary show tonight.

Ask Me Another w/ Michael Ian Black, Esther Perel @ The Bell House
Host Ophira Eisenberg invites posits brain teasers to celebrity guests while Jonathan Coulton provides the music. This week: Wet Hot American Summer‘s Michael Ian Black and Belgian psychotherapist Esther Perel.

Punderdome @ Littlefield
Jo Firestone created an hosts this game show, alongside her father, where there is no pun too lame.
