What's going on Wednesday?

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Dave Harrington and Joe Russo duo w/ Spencer Zahn & Stuart Bogie @ Threes Brewing
Indie/electronic/jam/etc guitarist Dave Harrington releases a new Dave Harrington Group album this week, and he’s celebrating with five release parties at Threes Brewing. Tonight he’s doing a duo set with fellow indie jammer Joe Russo, followed by a set where Harrington/Russo will also be joined by jazz bassist Spencer Zahn and Superhuman Happiness’ Stuart Bogie.

Madison McFerrin, Miss Eaves @ C’mon Everybody
Rising a cappella singer Madison McFerrin (daughter of a cappella legend Bobby McFerrin) released a promising EP last year, and tonight she wraps up a January residency at C’mon Everybody.

Soak, Claud @ Mercury Lounge
Irish artist Soak is releasing her second album (and first in four years), Grim Town, this April, but she’s in the US for some shows ahead of its release.

Honey, Gong Gong Gong, Weak Signal @ Union Pool
Beijing duo Gong Gong Gong have been in the U.S. for a few months but are heading home soon…not before one last chance to catch their skronky style of blues. Detroit-style Brooklyn punks Honey headline.

Bring Me The Horizon, Thrice, The Fever 333 @ Hammerstein Ballroom
We’re not big on metalcore-turned-electropop headliners Bring Me The Horizon (though Grimes might be), but if you’re going to this show, we do recommend catching post-hardcore vets Thrice. Last year they released Palms, which was their best album in a while, and their live show is always rock-solid.
