You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Donna Missal, Samia @ Bowery Ballroom
Donna Missal is on the road supporting her 2018 album This Time (which features the Sharon Van Etten-penned “Jupiter,” which Sharon also recorded for her own new album under the name “Jupiter 4”), and the show is being opened by rising indie rocker Samia, who just released a couple very promising singles.

Weeknight, Big Bliss, Russian Baths, Hungr @ ALPHAVILLE
Brooklyn duo Weeknight, whose sound is somewhere between minimal wave synthpop and a David Lynch soundtrack, celebrate the release of their new album Dead Beat Creep tonight.

Tedeschi Trucks Band @ BAM
Led by husband-and-wife duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, the group celebrate the release of their new album Signs tonight.

Terry Riley’s “In C”, Darmstadt Ensemble @ Le Poisson Rouge
This is the 15th annual performance of Terry Riley’s “In C” by the Darmstadt Ensemble which this year includes Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Brian Chase, Elliott Sharp, and lots more.

Dave Hill @ Q.E.D.
This is another of Dave’s “You Had to Be There” shows where he “gives his first person account of different periods throughout history while Jim Biederman and Jodi Lennon call bullshit on most of what he’s saying.”

NPR’s Ask Me Another w/ Jim Gaffigan @ The Bell House
Ophira Eisenberg’s popular NPR comedy / trivia show welcomes Jim Gaffigan to the hot seat tonight.

Pinegrove @ Rough Trade
Pinegrove are coming to Rough Trade for a 7 PM performance/signing in continued support of last year’s Skylight. Sold out.

“60 to 90 Minutes of Comedy with Chris Gethard & a Friend” @ Union Hall (2 shows)
The title of this show pretty much says it all, apart from who Chris’s friend might be. These two shows are unsurprisingly sold out.
