Osheaga 2019 - Sunday
Tame Impala at Osheaga 2019 (more by Em Grey)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Tame Impala, Velvet Negroni @ Madison Square Garden
Tame Impala’s new album has been relegated to TBD status, but they’ve got no shortage of favorites to fill MSG tonight. They play tomorrow, too.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Dudley Music @ Brooklyn Bowl
Cleveland rap vets Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have done lots of celebrations for their classic 1995 album E. 1999 Eternal and its single “Tha Crossroads” in recent years, and while their current tour schedule isn’t celebrating anything in particular, you can probably expect tons of classics tonight.

The Mob, Pawns, Pobreza Mental @ Saint Vitus
UK anarcho-punk vets The Mob have been back in action for a few years now, and they’re now back in the US for some shows. Original frontman Mark Wilson will be joined by his US backing band: Mauz (of Dystopia and Kicker) and Jason Willer (of Cross Stitched Eyes, U.K. Subs, Charger, and more). Local support comes from deathrockers Pawns and hardcore bruisers Pobreza Mental (mem Warthog, Exotica, Tercer Mundo).

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Bedouin Soundclash, The Pandemics @ Webster Hall
Ska-punk vets The Mighty Mighty Bosstones returned last year with the new album While We’re At It, and going by recent setlists, it looks like we can expect a few songs from that but mostly a career-spanning set of favorites.

Mark Knopfler @ Beacon Theatre
Former Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler recently released Down the Road Wherever that’s very much in the spirit of his old band. He plays his second of two nights at Beacon tonight, and recent setlists show he’s been splitting things between solo and Straits songs pretty evenly. He’ll be back next month for a show at MSG with Bonnie Raitt.

Laraaji, GABI @ Elsewhere
Chill out as the sun sets with the very relaxing sounds Ambient pioneer Laraaji on Elsewhere’s rooftop.

Sam Jay @ Union Hall
Sam Jay will soon be busy with SNL again, but you can catch her in stand-up mode tonight.

Adrian Belew @ Iridium
Adrian Belew sang on a handful of classic King Crimson albums, from Discipline to Thrak and beyond, and he has also lent his guitar skills to David Bowie, Talking Heads, Frank Zappa, Nine Inch Nails, and plenty of others. His Iridium run wraps up tonight.
